Last updated: October 21, 2026

This page summarizes the cancellation and refund policy of Ebenezer International Christian Academy ("EICA," "we," "us," or "our") for the High School Diploma Program, as set out in Section VIII of the EICA Enrollment Agreement (Revised 2026). For purposes of this policy, "Student" also includes the parent or legal guardian when the student is a minor. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed Enrollment Agreement, the Enrollment Agreement controls.

How to Cancel

The Student must notify the school in person or in writing if he or she decides to cancel or terminate enrollment. Written notice is strongly recommended. Refunds will be made in accordance with this refund policy, regardless of whether written notice of withdrawal is provided.

You can give written notice by email to info@eicaschool.com or by mail or in person at:

Non-Refundable Fees

The registration fee of $125.00 and the Student Portal fee of $151.00 are non-refundable, for a total non-refundable amount of $276.00.

Refund Schedule

Tuition is charged for the full duration of the program. All refunds will be made according to the following schedule:

  1. Not accepted, or cancellation within three (3) business days. A refund will be issued for all monies paid, except the $125.00 registration fee and the $151.00 Student Portal fee, if the applicant is not accepted by the school or cancels within three (3) business days after signing the Enrollment Agreement and making the initial payment. The total non-refundable amount in this case is $276.00.
  2. Cancellation after the third (3rd) business day, before any course is opened. Cancellation after the third business day, but before any subject or course has been opened, will result in a full refund of all monies paid except the registration and Student Portal fees totaling $276.00.
  3. Cancellation before the program starts, or no-show. If an applicant is accepted but cancels prior to the start of the scheduled program or does not attend ("no-show"), all monies will be refunded, except the $125.00 registration fee and the $151.00 Student Portal fee, totaling $276.00, which are non-refundable.
  4. Cancellation before 50% of the program is completed. Cancellation after the program has started, but before fifty percent (50%) of the program has been completed, will result in a pro-rated refund based on the number of hours completed out of the total program hours.
  5. Cancellation after 50% of the program is completed. Cancellation after fifty percent (50%) of the program has been completed will result in no refund.

Termination Date

For refund computation purposes, the termination date will be the Student's last actual day of attendance or academic activity, unless an earlier written notice is received.

When Refunds Are Paid

All refunds due will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days of the first scheduled day of the program or the date of cancellation, whichever comes first. Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Payments made in cash or by check are refunded by check or by another method agreed with the school.

Remaining Balances

Any remaining balance shall remain due and payable in accordance with the terms of the Enrollment Agreement. Financial obligations remain enforceable regardless of withdrawal, relocation, non-completion, or personal circumstances.

Other Fees

  • Graduation fee: $125.00, due before graduation.
  • Late fee: $75.00 for any monthly payment more than forty-five (45) days past due.
  • Re-admission fee: $120.00 for students returning after inactive status.
  • Extensions: students may request up to two (2) six-month extensions, subject to institutional approval and applicable extension fees.

See our Secure Payments and Payment Terms for details on late payments, inactive status, and financial holds.

Cancellation by the School

A student may be dismissed or terminated from the school for non-payment of tuition, unsatisfactory academic progress, failure to maintain academic activity, or failure to comply with school rules and regulations, including attendance, academic integrity, conduct, communication, and online program policies. Before dismissal, the Student may be placed on probation or inactive status when appropriate. If enrollment is terminated by the school, refunds are calculated using the refund schedule above.

Exceptions

Fee waivers may only be granted for serious documented circumstances, such as medical emergencies, military deployment, or verified hardship, and must be approved by the School Director.
