Secure Payments and Payment Terms
Effective date: October 21, 2026
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This page explains how families pay tuition and fees to Ebenezer International Christian Academy ("EICA," "we," "us," or "our"), how we protect your payment information, and the payment terms that apply to your account. The specific amounts, due dates, and payment schedule for each student are set out in the student's enrollment agreement. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed enrollment agreement, the enrollment agreement controls.
How to Make a Payment
1. Online Payments
Online payments are made through the Edutino platform (eica.edutino.com) and are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. You may use any payment method that Stripe supports for your payment, which may include credit and debit cards, digital wallets, and bank account (ACH) debits. The methods offered to you are shown on the payment page at checkout.
2. Payments at the School Office
You may also pay in person at the school office by cash, check, or other accepted methods. Please contact the office before your visit if you have questions about which methods are accepted:
900 W 49th St Suite 562, Hialeah, FL 33012
(305) 792-8242
3. Receipts
A receipt is available for every payment. For online payments, you receive an electronic receipt. For payments made at the school office, a receipt is provided at the time of payment. If you need a copy of a receipt, contact the school office. Please keep your receipts for your records.
How We Keep Your Payment Information Secure
- Certified payment processor. Stripe is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. You can read more at stripe.com/docs/security.
- Encryption. Payment information is transmitted over encrypted connections using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Look for "https" and the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
- We never see your full card number. Card and bank details you enter online go directly to Stripe. EICA never sees or stores your full card number.
- Tokenization. When a payment method is saved for future or scheduled payments, Stripe replaces the sensitive details with a secure token. Only the token, along with limited information such as the card brand and last four digits, is available to EICA and Edutino.
For more information about how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
Registration and Program Fees
For the High School Diploma Program, the following fees apply under the Enrollment Agreement:
- Registration fee: $125.00, non-refundable.
- Student Portal fee: $151.00, non-refundable.
- Graduation fee: $125.00.
- Re-admission fee: $120.00, if returning after inactive status.
- Extension fees: apply if you request one of the up to two (2) six-month extensions, subject to approval.
Tuition depends on the program and plan you choose and is shown on the Plans page and in your Enrollment Agreement.
Payment Plans and Truth in Lending
We offer payment plans with zero percent (0%) interest after an initial down payment. The down payment amount, the number of installments, and the due date of each installment are set out in your Enrollment Agreement. If you choose automatic payments, your installments will be charged to your saved payment method on the scheduled dates.
There are no carrying charges or hidden service fees. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 0.00%, the finance charge is $0.00, and the total of payments equals the program price. Contracts are not sold to third parties.
Late Payments
Any monthly payment more than forty-five (45) days past due will incur a late fee of $75.00. Academic access may be suspended until the account balance is brought up to date. If you expect to have trouble making a payment, please contact us before the due date. We will do our best to work with you.
Inactive Status and Re-Admission
Students who fail to maintain payments and/or academic progress for a period of up to four (4) consecutive months may be placed on inactive status, and academic access may be suspended. We send email reminders before a student is placed on inactive status. All financial obligations remain due.
Students returning after inactive status must pay all outstanding balances and a $120.00 re-admission fee before academic access is restored. While inactive, students can still sign in to the student portal to make payments.
Failed or Returned Payments
If an online payment is declined or fails, or if a bank debit or check is returned unpaid (for example, for insufficient funds or a closed account), the payment is treated as not received and the late payment terms above apply. When an automatic payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge automatically and we will notify you by email. Returned or rejected payments may result in additional fees.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
A chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer does not cancel your financial responsibility. The disputed amount is added back to your account balance, and the account may be suspended and referred to collections. Please contact us first so we can help resolve any billing issue.
Financial Hold
EICA reserves the right to withhold diplomas, transcripts, enrollment verification, recommendation letters, and all academic records until all financial obligations have been satisfied in full. Diplomas and official transcripts are not issued or printed until the student's account is paid in full.
Collections
Delinquent accounts may be referred to a third-party collection agency and/or a legal recovery process, as permitted by law, including Florida Statutes Chapter 559. The Student is responsible for all permitted collection and legal costs.
Exceptions
Fee waivers may only be granted for serious documented circumstances, such as medical emergencies, military deployment, or verified hardship, and must be approved by the School Director.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and your enrollment agreement.
How to Protect Yourself from Payment Fraud
- EICA will never ask for your card details by email, phone, text message (SMS), or WhatsApp. If someone contacts you claiming to be from EICA and asks for your card number, bank details, or security code, do not provide them.
- Pay only through official channels: links on eicaschool.com, the Edutino platform (eica.edutino.com), or in person at the school office.
- Check that the web address begins with "https" and that you are on eicaschool.com or edutino.com before entering payment information.
- Be cautious with payment links received in unexpected messages. When in doubt, go directly to eicaschool.com or call us to confirm.
- If you think you have received a fraudulent request, or that your payment information has been misused, contact us right away and contact your bank or card issuer.
